We are seeking a skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Beaumont, TX. As an OB/GYN, you will provide comprehensive medical care to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and the female reproductive system. Responsibilities: Patient Care: Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast exams. Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions, such as menstrual disorders, infections, and pelvic pain. Provide prenatal care to pregnant women, including regular check-ups, screenings, and monitoring fetal development. Manage high-risk pregnancies and complications, collaborating with other healthcare specialists as needed. Perform deliveries, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and assist in labor induction or augmentation when necessary. Offer counseling and support to patients regarding contraception, family planning, and reproductive health. Surgical Procedures: Perform surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology, such as hysterectomy, myomectomy, tubal ligation, and laparoscopic surgeries. Conduct minimally invasive procedures, including hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, including history, examination findings, diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists, to provide comprehensive care to patients. Consult and coordinate care with specialists in related fields, such as reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology, and oncology, as necessary. Patient Education: Educate patients about preventive healthcare measures, including the importance of regular screenings, vaccinations, and healthy lifestyle choices. Provide guidance on pregnancy-related topics, childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, and postpartum care. Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing medical education (CME), conferences, and professional literature. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Requirements: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school. Residency training in obstetrics and gynecology from an accredited program. Board certification or eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology. State medical license to practice in Texas or willing to obtain. DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration. Excellent clinical and surgical skills.
