We're recruiting for our workforce development program dedicated to connecting employers, including esteemed institutions like UPMC, with a diverse pool of talent nationwide. We have a remarkable opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Workforce Outreach Specialist for our partnership with UPMC. As a key player on our employment services team, you will play a pivotal role in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and driving the success of our Community2Work® (C2W) workforce development program.


Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy
-Develop and implement a comprehensive national recruitment strategy to attract highly qualified candidates for positions with employers such as UPMC.
-Utilize various channels, including job fairs, online platforms, social media, and community organization partnerships, to reach a wide and diverse audience.


Client Engagement (UPMC)
-Foster and nurture strong relationships with our clients, especially UPMC, to deeply understand their workforce needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
-Collaborate closely with UPMC's HR and hiring teams to ensure a seamless recruitment process and successful placement of candidates.


TANF and Medicaid Focus
- Implement targeted outreach initiatives to identify and engage individuals eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Medicaid, providing them with valuable information about available employment opportunities.
-Work closely with social service agencies and community partners to maximize outreach efforts and establish a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.


Program KPIs
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to workforce development, ensuring that recruitment goals are not only met but exceeded.
-Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of our outreach program, constantly striving for excellence.

Employment Services Support
-Collaborate seamlessly with the employment services team to ensure a smooth transition for candidates from recruitment to successful placement.
-Provide ongoing support to candidates throughout the employment process, addressing any barriers that may hinder their path to successful placement.
