Job Title: Stationary Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a 3rd grade stationary engineer to join our team, working the shift from Tuesday to Friday, 12pm to 10pm. As a stationary engineer, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance, operation, and cleaning associated with the operation of a large industrial utilities facility. This facility provides steam, heat, hot water, instrument and zero air, chilled water, and other services to a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate various utilities systems.
• Perform work within structured safety, maintenance, and operating procedures.
• Execute scheduled and corrective maintenance tasks as required.
• Conduct predictive maintenance tasks including Ultra Sonic Leak Detection, Thermal Scans, and Vibration Analysis.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
• Operate systems and equipment in a control room environment.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving problems affecting facility operations and environmental compliance.
• Read blueprints, material specifications, manufacturer's literature, operating procedures, and work instructions.
• Collect data, maintain records, and provide comprehensive logbook entries.
• Support energy conservation measures.
• Actively support process improvements and facility maintenance.

Essential Skills

• MD Grade 3 stationary license.
• Experience with boilers, heating, and hot water equipment.
• Ability to perform commercial building maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facilities maintenance.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and repair tasks.
• Basic computer skills for handling work orders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
