Look forward to meeting you soon Description of the role: University Home Care is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staffing and Hiring Professional to join our team in Livonia, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment and hiring process for our home care company. You will work closely with the management team to identify staffing needs, source and screen candidates, schedule interviews, and facilitate the onboarding process. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management team to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
• Source and screen potential candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking)
• Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit
• Coordinate and schedule in-person interviews with hiring managers
• Conduct background checks and verify candidate credentials
• Complete the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and orientation
• Maintain and update employee records and databases
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in staffing and hiring

Requirements:

• Previous experience in staffing or recruitment role
• Knowledge of the home care industry is highly preferred
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR databases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus
