Your Opportunity
Chewy is seeking a Rebate Analyst to join the Rebate Center of Expertise team. This role supports rebate accounting, financial tracking, and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in financial analysis, data validation, and process improvement to ensure compliance and accurate rebate reporting.

As a Rebate Analyst, you will play a key role in managing the vendor rebate program, which contributes approximately $2 billion to the business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify areas for improvement, and ensure rebate processes are accurate and effective. Due to the complexity and materiality of vendor rebates, this role is crucial in minimizing rebate leakage, enhancing data quality, and ensuring contractual compliance.

What Youll Do
  • Assist in period-end close tasks and audit deliverables related to vendor rebates.
  • Support validation and analysis of rebate calculations to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
  • Develop and maintain reports to monitor rebate metrics, accruals, and variances.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and merchandising teams to ensure rebate accuracy.
  • Assist in data validation and audit processes for rebate programs.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities.

What Youll Need

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 0+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or rebate support roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Understanding of rebate accounting, contract compliance, and accruals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
