The role is responsible for administering the Credit Union’s Learning Management System (LMS) and creating engaging digital content to support compliance, onboarding, and organizational training needs. It also supports training projects, facilitates virtual sessions, and may assist with training across departments—requiring broad knowledge and flexibility. The role also ensures all learning solutions are timely, accurate, and aligned with business goals, in collaboration with team members and stakeholders. What You'll Do LMS Administration & Reporting Serve as the primary LMS administrator, ensuring system functionality and user accessibility Monitor and improve LMS structure, workflows, training delivery, and user experience Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support Coordinate and support instructor-led training sessions through the LMS, including session setup, learner registration, and related communications Maintain LMS documentation and training usage standards Audit and maintain LMS data integrity Generate and distribute LMS reports to support training and compliance tracking Analyze training data and make informed recommendations for improvements Regulatory Training & Annual Compliance Calendar Manage the annual training assignment calendar, including required regulatory training and refresher training Coordinate with Compliance and business leaders to schedule and assign required training Serve as the point of contact for calendar-related questions and changes E-Learning Development & Content Management Design, develop, and maintain engaging e-learning modules, videos, infographics, job-aids, and assessments Apply instructional design best practices to create role-based, learner-focused training Ensure content is accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with organizational objectives and compliance standards Review and revise digital content based on user feedback, system changes, or business needs Track content versioning and recertification cycles Maintain a robust and current digital content library Work with Compliance organization and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy Training Delivery & Support Deliver or co-facilitate virtual instructor-led training sessions (vILT) as needed Support training requests from departments across AACU, including intake and prioritization, assessing training needs, and determining the best training approach to address the request Partner with instructional team members to ensure consistent training experiences Adapt training delivery methods to meet learner needs and format requirements Additional Duties Stay informed on new learning technologies and recommend innovative practices Continuously improve training content to enhance learner engagement and outcomes Perform other duties, as assigned The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a credit union or financial institution, with demonstrated understanding of core operations, member services, or lending functions Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor’s degree in an area of study relevant to the position Certification from an accredited instructional design program (ex: ATD, CPTD, APTD or equivalent is preferred) Skills, Licenses & Certifications Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software Understanding of credit union operations, products, services, and policies Awareness of regulatory training requirements in financial institutions (e.g., BSA, Privacy, Reg. CC, etc.) Knowledge of core credit union systems including MeridianLink, Symitar, and Synapsys Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAMs, Blooms’ Taxonomy) Familiarity with digital learning formats including e-learning, video, infographics, and job aids Technical skills in digital content development tools (e.g., Canva, Articulate Rise, Stroyline, etc.) Proficient use in Snagit for screen captures, video tutorials, and visual communication in training materials Facilitating virtual instructor-led training using platforms such as WebEx and engaging employees through virtual engagement tools (e.g., polls, breakout rooms, chat, reactions) to enhance learner interaction and participation Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying deadlines Excellent written communication for instructional clarify, messaging, and stakeholder updates Visual design skills to enhance learner engagement and comprehension Data analysis for interpreting LMS reports and making informed training decisions Ability to quickly learn and translate complex topics into engaging learning experiences Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively in a team environment Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with SMEs, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams Ability to stay organized and detail oriented in a fast-paced environment Ability to identify content gaps and recommend scalable learning solutions Comfortable adapting to change and working on diverse training topics across the organization Able to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks What You'll Get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
