About the Role:

As a Senior Strategy & Policy Consultant supporting our Federal government client, you will provide policy, programmatic, and business operations support. Your responsibilities include reviewing R&D investments, supporting impact statements, ROI determinations, partner engagement, and emerging technology discussions. You will also contribute to introducing and enhancing cutting-edge technologies and strategies to support our client's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support Rapid Response Analysis and Strategic and Contingency Studies.
  2. Maintain and update the client’s strategic plan, develop implementation plans for special projects, and contribute to programmatic and governance policies.
  3. Respond to critical priorities and events, providing timely evaluation and capability delivery to inform leadership and facilitate action against emerging threats.
  4. Develop and manage frameworks for gap identification and program execution, aligning strategic goals with business processes and oversight.
  5. Advise on enhancing business processes and procedures to align with strategic directions.
  6. Maintain and update strategic and process documentation, create training materials, and develop communication strategies.
  7. Interface with stakeholders across agencies, industry, academia, and international partners to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  8. Identify and analyze disruptive future technologies, developing capabilities to leverage or counter them.
  9. Support the company's commitments to deliver, grow, and thrive.

Location:

Washington, DC, working as part of a dynamic team.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Background in homeland security or related organizations, familiar with government agencies.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Previous DHS experience.
  • DHS suitability.
