KPMG is seeking a Senior Specialist, MAST Application Penetration Tester to join our Managed Services practice. Responsibilities: Conduct manual application penetration testing against APIs (REST/SOAP), Web Applications, Mobile applications, and thick client applications. Perform testing based on defined engagement objectives. Execute threat modeling, evaluate application business logic, and review application architecture. Demonstrate application testing skills through demos to internal and external audiences. Work independently on penetration testing engagements with minimal oversight. Maintain integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful work environment. Qualifications: Minimum three years of recent experience in application penetration testing of APIs, web, or mobile applications. Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience. Ability to communicate testing results effectively to technical and non-technical audiences and lead remediation discussions. Experience with testing tools like Burp Suite Pro, Netsparker, and Checkmarx. Ethical hacking certifications (e.g., GWAPT, CREST, OSWE, OSWA) are preferred but not required. Willingness to travel as needed. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future; no visa sponsorship available. KPMG complies with local/state salary disclosure laws.
