This position is full time Monday-Friday - 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM.
This position is located at St. Joseph's Hospital North in Lutz, in the Outpatient Infusion department.
**Summary:**
Effectively and efficiently addresses the needs of both internal and external customers when scheduling patients by carefully collecting demographic, insurance, and procedure information.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Accurately schedule procedures
+ Deliver complex clinical examination instructions
+ Document patient response to clinical questions
+ Keep the patient's physician and hospital offices current with information about their scheduled procedures
+ Schedulers must be familiar with payer guidelines for balancing authorization requirements with scheduled appointment dates
+ Perform general clerical support that includes answering telephones, data entry, communication, and other assigned duties
**Requirements:**
+ High School or Equivalent
+ 1 year Business Related or 1 year Healthcare or 1 year Customer Service
