Responsibilities:

License Oversight & Compliance

  • Serve as the qualifying individual for both General (G) and Utility/Underground (U) contractor licenses.
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with state, local, and federal contracting laws and regulations.
  • Maintain license in good standing and fulfill all regulatory responsibilities tied to the RME role.

Project Supervision

  • Oversee a diverse range of construction projects including ground-up builds, tenant improvements, site work, underground utilities, and grading.
  • Coordinate work across multiple trades and subcontractors to meet project timelines and standards.
  • Review and interpret construction documents, specifications, and permits.

Field & Operations Management

  • Perform regular site visits to verify progress, quality, and safety.
  • Provide direction to superintendents and field teams; resolve technical or logistical issues on site.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and site-specific safety programs.

Scheduling & Resource Planning

  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to develop accurate schedules and manpower plans.
  • Assist in procurement planning and equipment coordination related to utility and general construction scopes.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Monitor quality control procedures and ensure project delivery meets all contract and code requirements.
  • Approve key project documents, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Maintain accurate project records and communicate updates to stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active RME license for both General (G) and Utility/Underground (U) classifications (or eligibility to be designated as such).
  • 8+ years of construction experience with demonstrated leadership in both vertical (building) and horizontal (site/utility) projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, underground utility installation, and general construction practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, site plans, and technical drawings.
