Job Description

A financial services group in north Austin is looking for a Recruiter to join their team! This is a contract to hire role, looking for someone to start ASAP. This is a fully onsite position M-F and pay is starting at roughly $25-35+/hr depending on experience. Candidates must have experience recruiting for Banking, Credit Union, or Financial Services industries to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job posting, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand department needs and develop effective hiring strategies.

• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and local community outreach.

• Maintain compliance with internal procedures and federal/state employment regulations.

• Support onboarding coordination and provide a seamless candidate experience.

• Track recruiting metrics and provide weekly updates to leadership.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recruiting experience, within credit unions, community banks, or financial services .

• Demonstrated ability to recruit for a wide range of roles, from entry-level to management.

• Knowledge of FCRA, EEO, and other employment regulations.

• Strong interpersonal skills, sense of urgency, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with credit union culture, terminology, and member service principles strongly preferred.
