Quality Intern — Team JAS, Inc.
Team JAS, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about aviation component inspection, quality assurance processes, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced aerospace environment. You’ll work closely with our experienced team to support inspections, documentation, and quality control initiatives for aircraft components.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist with quality inspections and verification of aircraft components.
  • Document and report non-conformances, assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
  • Participate in quality assurance process improvements and initiatives.
  • Aid in preparing reports for internal review and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and repair station personnel.
Estimated Hours
20 hours per week, with occasional opportunities up to 25 hours if needed.

This is an onsite position in Jacksonville, FL. Remote work is not available.

Desired Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in a nationally accredited baccalaureate program in Engineering or related field. (Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, or related disciplines preferred.)
  • Freshman through Senior year students welcome to apply.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with CAD software (CATIA or SolidWorks) and/or 3D printing is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a technical environment.
