Job Description:

• Provide full-scope medical oncology and hematology care
• Approximately 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient work
• Split work of 30% in hematology and 70% in solid tumor cases
• Current outpatient patient census is around 25 patients per clinic; inpatient volume varies and averages 5-10 patients
• Work as part of a cohesive team with three full-time medical oncologists and one full-time hematologist
• Support staff includes a dedicated medical assistant and clinic RN as well as two inpatient NPs
• Academic affiliation potential with medical students and residents
• Participate in shared call schedule with a dedicated inpatient floor close to the cancer care center and clinic
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology including linear accelerators and other advanced equipment
• Contribute to an environment that ranks in the top 10% nationally for patient experience
• Enjoy a supportive workplace environment focused on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
• Use EPIC for electronic medical records management
