KeenLogic Photographer Job Description KeenLogic is seeking a Photographer to join our team in D.C.! This short-term contract position involves providing on-location and in-studio photo services, as well as supporting House-Wide events. The role requires offering creative solutions to meet the needs of Members and Committees. Candidate Capabilities and Requirements The Photographer will provide digital media support for Member, Committee, and House offices, focusing on photography, postproduction, and multimedia. Responsibilities include all stages of the photographic development lifecycle, such as gathering requirements, concept development, tool selection, post-production, and delivery. Candidate Specific Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience. At least three years of photography experience, including digital media; preference for 2+ years in-house or agency experience. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign). Knowledge of multi-camera systems, including Nikon, Canon, and Sony. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and understanding of Office 365. Experience using MAC and PC platforms. Strong customer service skills, including needs assessment and satisfaction evaluation. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with diverse stakeholders. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across teams and with stakeholders. Availability to work additional hours and obtain necessary Federal security clearances. Description of Work Consult with clients to determine needs and ensure satisfaction in photography and digital media services. Create photographic and multimedia content for communications, outreach, and social media campaigns. Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines. Participate in peer reviews and quality checks. Support high-profile projects in tight deadlines. Keep up-to-date with current software and techniques, especially Adobe Creative Suite. Provide feedback on planning and daily operations. Recommend improvements and inform management of issues and constraints. Assist in developing workplace policies, standards, and communication materials.
