Momentum Massage & Wellness is seeking a goal-oriented, professional, and passionate NYS Licensed Massage Therapist to join our award-winning team! We’re looking for someone who’s committed to therapeutic, sports, and treatment-focused massage — and eager to grow with a thriving, values-driven practice.

The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, skilled, and motivated to provide exceptional care. Strong communication, professionalism, and a client-centered approach are musts. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide a safe, welcoming, and professional experience for every client
• Conduct thorough intake, assessment, and treatment planning tailored to client goals
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage contraindications
• Communicate effectively with clients about the benefits of massage and self-care
• Maintain detailed SOAP notes and uphold Momentum’s practice policies
• Support clients through education in movement, self-care, and injury prevention

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of a NYS-approved massage therapy program
• Current New York State Massage License
• 1–2+ years experience preferred (strong new grads welcome to apply!)
• Professional liability insurance (must be active by start date)
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
• Punctual, positive, and professional in both appearance and attitude
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to thrive and learn from client and upper staff feedback 
• Willing to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week, including at least one evening shift and one weekend shift per month. Available shifts include: M, T, W, F, Sa.: 9a-3p or 2-8p; Su: 11a-5p

• Prenatal and Postnatal Massage
• Sports massage, trigger point, cupping, myofascial techniques
• Other specialties or modalities not currently offered at Momentum
