Job Details

Responsibilities...

• Leading daily accounting functions: accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and more
• Managing and mentoring a high-performing accounting and payroll team
• Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and job cost reports
• Partnering with the CFO on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and internal policies
• Driving month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Supporting annual audits and coordinating with external auditors
• Strengthening internal controls and safeguarding company assets

Experience...

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Industry experience in the construction, construction materials, or manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and job cost accounting practices
• A strategic mindset with attention to detail and a knack for problem-solving
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite
