Environmental Field Geologist (PRP)

MAS Environmental is seeking a motivated and skilled Environmental Field Geologist to join our Tampa, Florida office. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental engineering, specifically experience with the state of Florida's Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Remedial Action Plans: Prepare and develop comprehensive Remedial Action Plans (RAPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Pilot Testing: Conduct pilot testing to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of remediation technologies.
• Field Data Collection: Perform field data collection, including soil and groundwater sampling, site assessments, and monitoring.
• Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• CADD (Preferred): Utilize Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software to assist in the design and implementation of engineering projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
• 1+ years of environmental experience relating to the state of Florida's Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP).
• Geologist-In-Training (GIT) license is preferred.
• Experience in preparing Remedial Action Plans.
• Ability to conduct pilot testing and field data collection.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in CADD software is a plus.
