Primary focus is the delivery of product to customers ensuring customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and professional interaction. The Delivery Driver (CDL Class A/B) is responsible for providing timely transportation of products from origin to destination as assigned, along with unloading and staging products at customer’s place of business. Expected to maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving, while providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships. Must have a CDL with either a Class A or B endorsement. Primary Responsibilities include understanding and following company policies regarding returns and warranty items, completing all required paperwork including vehicle inspection forms and DOT logbooks, resolving customer issues ethically and positively, interacting with sales and customer service staff, safely operating vehicles according to federal laws, maintaining knowledge of assigned and backup routes, adhering to OSHA safety practices, ensuring correct product unloading and pick-up, and accurate paperwork completion. Key partners include Delivery Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager, Delivery Staff, General Manager, Director of Operations, Sales Staff, and Customer Service Representatives. Education requirement is minimum 4 years High School or GED. Required qualifications include a current Class “A” CDL, valid in-state license, age 21 or older, passing DOT physical and drug screen, and physical ability to handle loading/unloading. Experience sufficient to work under general supervision is needed. Key competencies include basic reading and writing, math aptitude, knowledge of delivery areas, customer interaction skills, strategic thinking, problem solving, collaboration, effective communication, ethical conduct, and accountability. Physical demands include occasional lifting/moving up to 150 pounds and various physical activities. Work environment includes exposure to weather and moderate noise.
