Job Description

Four Seasons Sales and Service is currently looking to hire a Corporate Accountant.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration. Preference will be given to accounting or finance majors.
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible work experience in auditing, financial analysis, accounting or other relevant business fields.
  • High level of analytical skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite experience required. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently within a fast-paced operation.
  • Must organize time effectively with extreme time management skills. 
  • Must be detail & task oriented with strong work ethic.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise the recording and reporting of financial information.
  • Preparation and maintenance of all accounting records and provide appropriate financial/statistical reports.
  • Review and approve the preparation of journal entries for financial statements. 
  • Disseminate relevant financial information to the applicable individuals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that financial operations are in compliance with Federal, State and any other applicable contract regulations and guidelines.
  • Prepares monthly financial reports for management, parent company and creditors.
  • Work with auditors to complete financial statement review.
  • Prepare analyses of budget variances and propose recommended course of action.
  • Oversee accounts payable functions.
  • Assist with cash management and banking requirements.
  • Review and approve invoices and expense reports.
  • Prepare commission/rebate reports monthly and/or quarterly.
  • Maintain depreciation schedule.
  • Assist with customer service issues as needed. 
  • Prepare all property tax schedules, business license and annual reports.

  AUDITING FUNCTIONS:

  • Reconcile payroll reports to general ledger.
  • Prepare work papers and assist with Auditors.
  • Test for impairment of intangible assets.
  • Assist on Workers Compensation & general liability audits.

BUDGET:

  • Investigate Budget Variances.
  • Assist in preparing 5-year Operating Budge
  • Assist with financial review and appraisal.

GENERAL:

  • Prepare quarterly Insurance Reports.
  • Perform customer analyses and sales analyses, as desired.
  • Analyze data as needed for various projects and opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned

This job operates in a temperature-controlled office environment. Casual dress attire. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. 

 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Visual acuity, speech, hearing, and hand and eye coordination required. Manual dexterity required to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to long periods of sitting with repetitive use of hands, fingers, wrists. May occasionally lift product weighing up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, and reach.
