About the Role
The Company is seeking a Corporate Compliance Officer to lead its compliance, privacy, and internal auditing programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of these programs, ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations. This role involves leading the Compliance Committee, preparing annual work plans, and maintaining policies and procedures to prevent illegal or unethical conduct. The CCO will also be tasked with identifying compliance vulnerabilities, implementing corrective action plans, and providing guidance on compliance matters. Additionally, the role includes overseeing employee training, promoting a culture of compliance, and managing the confidential disclosure and hotline programs. Applicants for the Corporate Compliance Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' of executive-level corporate compliance program experience in a large, complex healthcare system. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and certification in Health Care Compliance or a related field is also desirable. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in compliance auditing, monitoring, investigation, and enforcement, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is proficiency in computer programs. The role requires a team player with excellent multi-tasking abilities who can work effectively with senior management and other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
