Established, Single-Shop General Contractor with a focus in local multifamily and mixed-use projects across the South Bay and Peninsula Area now hiring for an upcoming K-12 modernization project in Antioch!

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Assist Superintendent with Managing the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.
• Assist in managing the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication with client, Construction Manager, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, adjacent community, trade unions, governmental agencies.
• Assist with setting up job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
• Participate in the review all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.
• Maintain and update project records including RFI’s, ASI’s and as-builts.
• Assist with creating and enforcing a site-specific emergency action plan for assigned projects in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Coordinate with building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agencies

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
• Prior experience with 100+ unit ground-up multifamily/mixed-use projects and DSA/K-12 projects (including podium, garden walk-up, and other Type I developments)
• General knowledge of construction principles/processes required
• Experience building relationships with owners and managing field staff
• Prior experience with MS Project (or similar), Procore (or similar), and Microsoft Office Suite
