Assistant Facilities Manager – Lead, Innovate, Excel!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Clearly communicate objectives and expectations, building a cohesive, motivated site team.
  • Support and manage operations budgets, ensuring cost-effective service delivery in Office Services, Custodial, and Facility Maintenance operations.
  • Foster continuous improvement, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance building operations.
  • Maintain strong communication channels with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, driving alignment and accountability.

Collaboration and Influence:

  • Act as a bridge between business units, external partners, suppliers, and dedicated internal teams such as People & Culture, HSE, and Finance.
  • Champion the Integrated Facilities Services (IFS) model, advocating continuous improvement and best practice sharing across ISS.
  • Engage proactively in innovation, driving initiatives that bring tangible improvements to facility operations.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 3 years' facility management experience with proven skills in supervision, budgeting, vendor management, and maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems, electrical operations, UPS, or Direct Digital Controls (DDC) is beneficial.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
  • Bilingual capability is an advantage.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Long working hours

  • Walking/Inspecting the site 50% of the time
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
